There were plenty more goals to be found at the start of game week three, with fourteen goals scored in just 4 league matches.

Portimonense managed to get their first point on the board, earning a 2-2 draw against newly-promoted Santa Clara, although last season's revelation Shoya Nakajima failed to find the back of the net once again.

But the most notable fixtures came on the Saturday, where the Big Three were all in action, with the Lisbon Derby proving a tense affair that failed to deliver a winner, while Porto managed to throw away a two-goal lead at half time to lose 3-2 to Guimaraes, who got their first points of the season as a result.

With the Lisbon derby, an extraordinary comeback, some superb goalkeeping and a comical VAR malfunction, the Saturday fixtures were certainly not short of excitement.
