Benfica 10-0 Nacional
Benfica annihilated relegation-threatened Nacional in a 10-0 massacre - the first time a Primeira Liga side has won by such a large winning margin since 1964.
It didn't take long for Benfica to get on the scoresheet, Alex Grimaldo coming up from left back to slot the ball into the back of the net after just 33 seconds.
Some poor Nacional defending then allowed João Felix to play Seferovic through on goal, the in-form Swiss striker coolly dispatching on the 20 minute mark.
He got his second of the game just 6 minutes later when he placed the ball into the back of the net after Andre Almeida's low cross put it on a plate for the Benfica striker, and the score remained a highly respectable 3-0 heading into the break.
After the restart though, Benfica ran riot, smashing in a further seven goals to condemn Nacional to the worst defeat seen in top-flight Portuguese football in modern history.
Wonderkid João Felix got the first of the half, heading in Pizzi's in-swinging cross after 5 minutes to make it four. Pizzi, who was deservedly man of the match, then won his side a penalty before calmly burying from the spot in the 53rd minute.
Pizzi again turned provider just 2 minutes after scoring, his corner met by the head of the rising Ferro - one of Benfica's many high-profile youth products, who was making his first ever start for the senior side - who powered past Daniel Guimarães in the Nacional goal.
Pizzi got his third assist of the game just past the hour mark, his free-kick delivery eventually dispatched by Ferro's centreback partner and fellow Benfica youth product, Ruben Dias, making it 7-0 on the night.
Substitute Jonas' powerful free-kick in the 85th minute proved too hot to handle for Nacional's keeper, who could only parry the ball into his own goal.
With time running out, Pizzi chipped in with his fourth assist of the match to make the score 9-0, making the most of some more poor Nacional defending by playing a one-two with Rafa Silva in the Nacional box.
And there was even time for Benfica to make it a double-digits affair, Jonas getting his second of the match to round of the rout.
