Vitoria Guimarães sign João Carlos Teixeira from Porto
Guimarães have completed the signing of Porto midfielder João Carlos Teixeira.
Teixeira, 25, has played twice for Portugal at under-21 level, between 2013 and 2015, and the same number of games at English Premier League side Liverpool.
He was out on loan at Braga last season, featuring in 14 league games and 6 Europa league matches in the process, but did not do enough to persuade the Portuguese club to sign him permanently.
Teixeira follows some big names to Guimarães this season, who are aiming to put last year's below-par campaign behind them.
