Toni Martinez completes move to FC Porto
Famalicao striker Toni Martinez has completed his move to Portuguese champions FC Porto, signing a contract with the Portuguese champions until 2025.
The 23-year old saw his move to Porto delayed slightly, with a few minor details needing to be rectified to seal the transfer, but the move has now finally been made official.
Martinez had an excellent season for Famalicao last season, scoring 14 goals across all competitions as he helped the club to an impressive 6th place finish in the Primeira Liga.
He is the latest domestic signing made by FC Porto, who had previously signed Claudio Ramos, Carraca, Zaidu Sanusi and Mehdi Taremi from the Portuguese league.
Famalicao, meanwhile, turned to a familiar setting to find a replacement for the Spanish striker, with Leonardo Campana loaned to Famalicao from Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 20-year old has not featured for Wolves yet, having arrived at the club from Barcelona SC of Ecuador in January 2020, and has already represented
