Danilo Pereira completes move to PSG
Portuguese international midfielder Danilo Pereira has completed his move away from FC Porto, signing for reigning French champions PSG on an initial season-long loan.
Danilo had been expected to leave Porto this window, with a move to the English Premier League widely perceived as the most likely scenario, though the 39-time Portugal international has instead joined the Champions League finalists.
The 29-year old, who played all of Porto’s games so far this season, will join on a loan deal valued at 4 million euros, though PSG will then make the transfer permanent at the end of the season for a fee of just 16 million euros, significantly lower than Porto’s initial asking.
The Euro 2016 and Nations League 2019 champion helped Porto lift the Primeira Liga title against the odds last season, playing 26 league games last term.
