Porto considering move for Hulk
FC Porto are considering a move for former forward Hulk, who is currently plying his trade in China with Shanghai SIPG.
The Brazilian international is fully expected to return to Europe when his contract with the Chinese Super League club expires in December 2020, at which point he will be free to join any club of his choice.
But Porto are believed to be his preferred destination, and the reigning Portuguese champions are keen to bring the 34-year old back to the club in the January transfer window, if not before.
Arriving all the way back in 2008, Hulk went on to play 169 games for Porto, scoring 77 goals and bagging 61 assists across all competitions for the Portuguese outfit, before leaving for Zenit in 2012 for a fee of 60 million euros.
Previously, Hulk has made it clear that he would love to return to Porto, saying in April: “When you are with a club and then leave for another country, you make great friends. Of course there is always that desire to return.”
“The first word I have when I speak about Porto is happiness. I have already made clear several times - Porto lives in my heart and to return would be a dream.”
