Stunning Bruno Alves free-kick sees Parma earn a point - watch it here
Parma earned a point against Chievo after falling behind, thanks to a long-range strike from Portugal international Bruno Alves.
The result sees Parma jump back into the top half of the Serie A table, having been promoted only last season, while Chievo remain without a league win this season, rooted bottom of Serie A with just three points.
However, it was the away side that took an unlikely lead, Stepinski finding the back of the net just after the half time interval.
Parma weren't behind for long though, with Bruno Alves, who is also the Parma captain, becoming the hero, hitting a sublime strike from 35 yards into the top corner and beyond the outstretched Sorrentino.
Heading into the match, Alves had not just played in every one of Parma's 14 league matches this campaign, but had actually played every single minute in the Serie A, a highly impressive statistic for the 37-year old centreback.
However, having scored the goal to put Parma back on level terms, his second goal in three matches, Alves was taken off the field for the first time since he arrived at the Italian club in the 74th minute.
Alves, despite going to the World Cup with Portugal last summer, hasn't been included in Fernando Santos' squad since the global tournament in Russia.
