Benfica come back from behind vs Borussia Dortmund
In the International Champions Cup, Benfica came from 2-0 down against Borussia Dortmund to pull things back level, before then going on to win the penalty shootout 4-3.
It was a show of great resilience from the Lisbon club, and very promising signs that will give the fans comfort despite a shaky start.
Indeed, Benfica were immediately left with a mountain to climb, finding themselves 2-0 just after the 20-minute mark, with Philipp getting both the goals for Dortmund.
But Benfica came out in the second half meaning business, with goals from Andre Almeida & 20-year old Alfa Semedo bringing the match back to level terms.
With the match level, the game was taken to penalties, with Eduardo Salvio scoring the winning spot kick.
