Brahimi wanted by at least three Premier League clubs
Yacine Brahimi has been a stand-out performer for Porto since his arrival back in 2014, and clubs in England are monitoring his situation as they consider making an approach for the Algerian international.
The 28-year old has played a part in every league match for Porto this season, and has 6 goals in 17 Primeira Liga outings for the reigning Portuguese champions.
And it is no secret that there are clubs from across the continent considering an approach for the Algerian international, who has represented his country 39 times this season. Namely, clubs from the English Premier League are thought to be interested in the left winger.
As reported previously, Marco Silva’s Everton are one club that have been paying close attention to the Algerian, who had scouts at Porto’s clash with Nacional last week. The match ultimately finished 3-1 to the hosts and featured two goals from Brahimi himself, giving Everton even more food for thought as to whether to approach the winger.
And now, two other Premier League clubs are also believed to be interested in Yacine Brahimi, with The Daily Mirror revealing that both Arsenal and Manchester United are weighing up whether to make an offer.
Brahimi, it should be noted, has only a few months left to run on his contract, which runs out in June, and is therefore free to talk to other clubs.
It means that clubs are able to sign one of Porto’s most valuable assets for absolutely nothing, something which is likely particularly tempting for Arsenal, who are known to be in a position where loans and free transfers are central to their current transfer policy.
Inter Milan are another club very keen on the player.
