From Spain: Porto's Eder Militão is Real Madrid's top priority
In the Spanish press, Eder Militão is the source of great intrigue, with the Brazilian centreback linked with a move to Real Madrid.
According to Marca, signing Militão is the central objective of the La Liga giants, who are keen to bolster their squad after a disappointing campaign.
Currently, they sit just 5th in the league, below both Alaves and Sevilla in addition to rivals Atletico and Barcelona.
Marca also state that the recent arrival of Pepe to the Portuguese champions will help facilitate a move for the 20-year old, with Pepe able to seemlessly replace Militão in the Porto lineup.
It is also claimed by Marca that Militão's release clause for the month of January has been reduced, available during this window for a cut price of 42 million euros.
Once the winter window shuts, it is suggested that his release clause will increase again, to 50 million euros.
Militão only joined Porto in the summer, but has already attracted suitors from all over the continent.
