Update on the Pepe injury
Pepe hobbled off injured in the 63rd minute of the clash with Switzerland in the Nations League semi-final.
Having produced a solid display for the national team yet again, he went off clutching his shoulder, unable to continue the game and was ultimately replaced by Jose Fonte.
And there is further bad news for the Portugal national team as it is confirmed by the FPF that Pepe has fractured his scapula.
This means that Pepe will obviously have no chance of facing The Netherlands in the final of the Nations League, but he will also likely miss a couple of months of football on top of that.
That means he is also expected to miss at least part of Porto’s pre-season as well as the final this Sunday.
