Latest FIFA World Rankings announced as Portugal move up

Portugal have moved up the official FIFA World Rankings after victories over both Croatia and Sweden in the UEFA Nations League.

Having previously been ranked 7th, Portugal have risen two places, leapfrogging Croatia and Uruguay, and closing the gap on England in 4th.

It is not the highest ever ranking for Portugal, who have previously occupied 3rd in the rankings on numerous occasions, most recently in April 2018.
