Andre Gomes to be an Everton player
Everton will sign Andre Gomes from Barcelona on a season-long loan.
He had undergone a medical in Barcelona earlier in the day, and will now become an Everton player.
The transfer will see the Portuguese central midfielder link up with his compatriot Marco Silva, who was appointed manager of the Merseyside club earlier this season.
The future of the European champions had been the cause of great speculation throughout the summer window after the 25-year old endured a disappointing season last year for the La Liga champions, seeing his game time significantly reduced.
