Ryan Gauld set for return to Scotland
Sporting CP midfielder Ryan Gauld is expected to be moving on loan back to his home country.
The 23-year old is expected to join Hibernian until the end of the season.
That is despite the fact that he is currently already out on loan at Farense, who play in Portugal's second tier.
Gauld has played for Farense 11 times so far this season, scoring 2 goals in the process.
Farense currently occupy 7th in the Segunda Liga standings, 11 points short of promotion.
Gauld arrived at Sporting in 2014 for 4 million euros, but has failed to make an impact at the club, playing just 5 matches for the senior side, 3 of which came in the League Cup.
A move to Hibernian may be exactly what he needs to reignite his career.
