Deadline Day: Sporting CP complete signing of Yannick Bolasie
One final transfer for Sporting CP on what was a very busy day for the club, with Everton winger Yannick Bolasie arriving on a season long loan from Everton.
Bolasie joined Everton for 30 million euros back in 2016 from Crystal Palace, showing that he was a highly rated figure in the English Premier League, and started his career on Merseyside strongly.
However, after suffering a serious injury midway through his debut season with Everton, he was out of action for over a year, and struggled to match his previous level.
Instead, he spent time out on loan, first at Aston Villa, before playing the second half of last season in Belgium at Anderlecht.
The 30-year old DR Congo international follows both Fernando and Jese Rodriguez to the club from Shakhtar Donetsk and PSG respectively, while Raphinha and Thierry Correia left the club, the former for Rennes for 20 million euros, and the latter for Valencia.
