Deadline Day: Sporting CP bring in PSG winger on loan
Sporting CP’s hectic transfer deadline day continues as another player is brought into the country.
On transfer deadline day, Sporting have already seen Raphinha and Thierry Correia both head out of the revolving door, the former a key player who joined Rennes for 20 million euros and the latter a very talented young prospect who has joined Valencia for 12 million euros, while Fernando joined on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk.
And Sporting have brought in yet another attacking player, bringing in PSG winger Jese Rodriguez on a season-long loan, with the option to make the deal permanent for an undisclosed fee.
Jese made a cameo appearance for PSG in Ligue 1 last weekend, which was his first outing for PSG since December 2016 having spent most of his time out on loan since then.
The former Spain U21 international was originally bought by PSG from Real Madrid in 2016, but has only played for PSG 16 times since then.
He has instead spent time out on loan at three clubs - Las Palmas, Stoke City and Real Betis.
