Chelsea defender Malang Sarr on the path to FC Porto
FC Porto are set to loan in Chelsea central defender Malang Sarr until the end of the season.
Sarr, who only signed for Chelsea this summer after his contract with French side Nice came to an end, will sign for the Portuguese champions, with no room for the highly promising defender in Frank Lampard’s side.
The 21-year old, in addition to being able to play in the centre of defence, will also provide cover at left back, which could be increasingly important due to the departure of Alex Telles.
The French youth international comes with a wealth of experience despite his young age, having already represented Nice’s senior team on 119 occasions.
