Gil Vicente star Ruben Ribeiro departs the club with future decided
Ruben Ribeiro has left Gil Vicente after spending the second half of last season on the books of the Portuguese Primeira Liga club.
He played 13 league games in his time back in his home country, scoring 4 and assisting 4 as he helped Gil Vicente steer well clear of relegation trouble.
And the 33-year old has already determined his future, joining Turkish side Hatayspor, who were promoted to the Turkish Super League this campaign after winning the second division, on a free transfer.
Ribeiro, who represented Al Ain before joining Gil Vicente, has spent almost the entirety of his career in Portugal, having represented 10 clubs in the country, including Rio Ave, Boavista, and Sporting CP.
