Famalicão could turn to Wolves' Bruno Jordão
Famalicão could look to sign Wolves midfielder Bruno Jordão as a replacement for the departing Pedro Goncalves, who has recently reinforced Sporting CP.
Jordão struggled for game time at Molineux last season, appearing in just one Premier League game - a six-minute cameo versus Chelsea on the final day of the season.
He did, however, play in 2 EFL Cup matches last campaign, scoring against Reading in the third round from a long-range effort.
The 21-year old central midfielder is highly rated, having joined Wolves in a package deal with star youngster Pedro Neto in a deal worth a combined 20 million euros.
With many of the positive traits that made Pedro Goncalves such a hit at Famalicao, with good dribbling and passing ability and composure on the ball, Jordao is seen as an ideal replacement for Goncalves, and could join on a loan deal.
This is made even more possible by the fact that his agent is the infamous Jorge Mendes, who has a strong association with both Wolves and Famalicao.
Jordao will also be open to the move, seeking more regular game time. Having seen the success that Goncalves went on to have at Famalicao, having also joined the Primeira Liga newcomers from Wolves, he would likely be even more tempted by the opportunity should it arise.
Jordao has previously played for both Braga and Lazio before joining Wolves. Uncoincidentally, they are all clubs which have clear connections to Jorge Mendes.
