Boavista complete the signing of former Benfica star Javi Garcia
Former Benfica and Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia has completed his widely anticipated move to Boavista.
The 33-year old midfielder was most recently on the books of Real Betis, though was only afforded 9 games for the club in the most recent season.
The campaign before that, thogh, was far more productive for the Spaniard, when he took to the field on 22 occasions.
The two-time Spain international played 132 games for Benfica during his time in Portugal, as well as 76 matches for Manchester City and 108 for Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg.
