Boavista sign Alejandro Gomez
Boavista have completed the signing of Alejandro Gomez, initially on a loan deal but with the option to make the move permanent.
Gomez comes incredibly highly rated, having played a crucial role in Mexico securing an impressive 2nd place finish at the U17 World Cup in 2019. He played every minute of the tournament and scored two goals en route.
The 18-year old centreback joins from Atlas, who he had already represented at senior level on 10 occasions.
He arrives at the club following the arrival of former Manchester City and Benfica star Javi Garcia, while goalkeeper Leo Jardim and Honduras striker Jorge Benguche have been two other summer arrivals.
