Famalicão strengthen with loan signing of former U20 World Cup champion
Famalicao have completed the signing of 2015 World Cup U20 champion Srdan Babic on a season-long loan with the option to make the deal permanent.
The centreback arrives at the Portuguese club from Red Star Belgrade, who he has represented for the last three seasons.
The 24-year old Serbian, who is yet to represent his country at senior level, has previously passed through Spain, having been on the books of Real Sociedad from 2015 to 2017.
He played 17 games for Red Star last season across all competitions, including 4 Champions League qualifiers.
