Championship club interested in Braga's Xadas
Xadas is not in the immediate plans of Braga manager Carlos Carvalhal, and a loan move is the most likely scenario for the 22-year old Portuguese midfielder.
Having spent the second half of last season at Maritimo, Xadas managed to get game time that would have been hard to come by at Benfica, playing 12 Primeira Liga games for the Madeiran club, scoring once versus Santa Clara.
He failed to do enough to secure a place in Braga’s plans for the new campaign though, and an English Championship club is understood to be leading the way in recruiting the versatile former Portugal U21 international, having already put forward an acceptable offer.
Xadas, who can play both on the wing and in attacking midfield, was once very highly rated by Braga, in particular thriving during the 2017-18 campaign at Braga, when he played 21 league matches for Braga, scoring twice and assisting 3.
