Porto storm to victory as they thrash Chaves and seek to reclaim the Primeira Liga title
Chaves were no match for Porto as the reigning champions dismantled their opponents 5-0 to cruise to the top of the table.
Despite striker Moussa Marega not making his big-money move to West Ham this summer window, the Malian striker was not included in the squad.
That meant the attacking responsibilities went to Vincent Aboubakar and Andre Pereira, with the former crucial in the victory, scoring the first two inside 20 minutes, while also assisting Brahimi for the third on the stroke of half time.
Jesus Corona then made it four after the 70 minute mark, while debutant Chadian 20-year old striker Marius Mouandilmadji came off the bench to complete the rout a few minutes before the end of the game.
