Andre Silva's future to finally be concluded
Andre Silva's destination for the upcoming season has finally been determined - and it lies away from AC Milan, with a season-long loan to Sevilla expected to be concluded in the near future.
Silva's future has been the cause of great speculation over the last few weeks, with the 22-year old striker linked with the likes of Wolves and Lazio over the summer, but no move ever prevailed.
Having endured a frustrating season with Milan last campaign, where the Portuguese international found the back of the net just twice in twenty-four league matches, Silva was fully expected to be leaving, but his next club has remained unknown.
His future was put in further doubt when Gonzalo Higuain was brought in by the Serie A club, adding further competition for a space in the starting lineup.
Now, it seems, La Liga and Sevilla will be his next club, where he will hope for far more game time and success on the pitch as he looks to revitalise his career.
Indeed, Andre Silva, who moved to Milan from FC Porto in 2017 for a fee of £35million, arrived with a great deal of expectation, having had a glorious season in his final year at the Portuguese club, and will be hoping to recapture his form at the Spanish giants.
Silva has had an exceptional career at international career, having scored 12 goals in just 26 caps, but failed to find the back of the net a single time at the World Cup in June of this year.
Andre Silva, it can be recalled, scored the winning goal for AC Milan against Spanish giants Barcelona in the International Champions Cup just last week.
