Braga jump to top of the table with victory over Belenenses
Braga end the sixth gameweek as table toppers after a convincing 3-0 away victory over Belenenses.
Braga pulled in front midway through the first half thanks to a wonderful whipped cross by Ricardo Horta, which was then met by the foot of Wilson Eduardo as he slotted past the keeper from close range.
Braga then doubled their lead before the half time break when Dyego Sousa capitalised on some poor footwork from Belenenses' goalkeeper Muriel Becker, nicking the ball off the shot-stopper. The Brazilian target man then squared the ball to Ricardo Horta who rifled the ball into the back of the net.
Wilson Eduardo completed the thrashing and bagged a brace after converting from the penalty spot after Muriel was adjudged to have taken down Horta illegally in the box.
The victory sees Braga jump above Porto and onto the top of the table, leading the way by just a single point.
