Moussa Marega on track for move to England
Moussa Marega has long desired to play in the Premier League - and his future looks to now lie in England.
Marega, who is currently on international duty with Mali at the African Cup of Nations, has not been afraid to hide his wishes to test himself in the English game, and that aspiration is now coming much closer to being realised.
It can be recalled that Marega came close to joining English Premier League outfit West Ham United last summer, The Hammers very keen on the 28-year old striker.
That move failed to go through though, Porto unwilling to accept the proposal being offered, and did not permit the move despite the player’s open desires.
Now, however, Porto are prepared to let the first-team player go and will not stand in his way should a sufficient offer come in.
And, according to A Bola, Marega has already received information that the next stage of his career will be played in England - and, more specifically, in London.
A Bola go on to state that it was agreed last September that, if Marega agreed to stay one more season, they would be willing to sell him the following summer - and Marega’s deal could be made official after 1st July.
The fee is expected to be in the region of 35 to 40 million euros.
Marega had a tremendous season last campaign, where he scored 11 goals and assisted 7 in the league, while in the Champions League, he bagged 6 goals in 9 outings.
