Replacement called up to the Portugal national team as Jose Fonte tests positive for Covid-19
Jose Fonte becomes the second player to have to pull out of the latest Portugal squad after testing positive for coronavirus.
Previously, Mario Rui had to be removed from Fernando Santos’ side due to the virus, with Braga's 30-year old left back Nuno Sequeira taking his place - earning his first ever call-up to the senior national team.
In place of veteran centreback Jose Fonte, Granada's Domingos Duarte makes an immediate return to the squad, having initially been replaced in the squad by Olympiakos’ Ruben Semedo.
