Portugal national team set to play 8 matches over the next 3 months - see the full schedule
The Portuguese Football Federation has today released the full schedule for the senior Portugal national team up to the end of 2020.
Portugal are set for some exciting fixtures, scheduled to play the likes of Spain, France and Croatia before the end of November.
Indeed, in total, Portugal will have 8 matches to take part in across just 3 months, six of which will be in the UEFA Nations League group stage as Portugal look to defend their crown, while the two other matches will be friendly fixtures with neighbours Spain and nearby Andorra.
In Portugal’s Nations League group are World Cup winners France, runners-up Croatia, and quarter-finalists Sweden in what is likely to be an incredibly competitive group. Finishing 1st will earn Portugal the chance to defend the trophy they earned last June with victory over the Netherlands in Lisbon, while last will see Portugal relegated to League B.
