Nelson Oliveira is one player that is set for a move this summer.
Oliveira, 27, is not in Norwich City’s plans for next season, the newly-promoted side happy to see the 17-time Portugal international leave this summer.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading, managed by Jose Gomes, though ultimately only played 10 games, scoring 3 goals.
And now, it is AEK Athens manager Miguel Cardoso who is interested in bringing in the Portuguese striker.
Cardoso appreciates the qualities that Oliveira would bring to the club and is interested in signing the Benfica academy product.
A deal for Oliveira should prove somewhat straightforward. Now into the last year of his contract, Norwich are keen to get him off their books to reduce their wage bill, while Oliveira is looking to join a club where he will be guaranteed more game time.
