Braga striker Paulinho had an outstanding campaign last season, and has continued where he left off, finding the back of the net in Braga’s internal friendly.
The Portuguese striker found the back of the net in impressive fashion, and bagged an assist to go with it, as he carried on his excellent form.
The 27-year old scored 25 goals for Braga last campaign in what was the best season of his career, and his goal comes just a day before Fernando Santos names his latest Portugal squad for their two UEFA Nations League matches against Croatia and Sweden.
His performances last campaign have earned him plenty of admirers, with Serie A outfit Lazio pursuing the striker earlier this month, though Braga’s asking price put the Italians off.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been heavily targeting Paulinho, though again Braga’s unwillingness to drop their asking price considerably has put a move to Molineux in doubt.
Paulinho has a release clause of 30 million euros, and Braga are looking to get as close to that value as possible.
