Rafa Silva is ready to play "at a higher level"

The agent of Rafa Silva has opened the door to the prospect of his client potentially moving on from Benfica at seom point in the future.

Rafa has been highly impressive for Benfica over the last couple of seasons, the pacey versatile forward the standout performer for the Lisbon club.

Interest in his services have therefore been high, and his agent has only added fuel to the fire with comments regarding his aspirations.

Antonio Araujo, his agent, said in an interview with Antena 1: “Rafa is getting close to turning 27. In our opinion, he is a player who is ready to play at a higher level… the Premier League or the Spanish League.”

“I will say that Rafa will fulfil his dream. But the main focus is the one mentioned: Benfica, together with Rafa - or Rafa together with Benfica - can achieve their set objectives.”

Rafa is currently contracted to Benfica until 2024, with a release clause of 80 million euros.
